The Ripefruit Maternity Wear Story so far...

When I was pregnant it was nearly impossible to find affordable and stylish maternity clothes. That's how I started my website. I purchased 5 or 6 designer items and as they were such good quality, after I had my son I decided to sell them as second hand on my site and they sold in no time.

I spent forever searching for items that I could mix and match to ensure I had a comfortable but stylish wardrobe for those important months during pregnancy.

As you all know, new maternity clothes are expensive considering they are going to be worn for such a short time. That's when I came up with the idea to specialise in pre-loved (second hand) maternity wear.

The garments on sale are always in excellent condition, without stains or marks and freshly laundered. Well known brands at very affordable prices including Ripe, Pea in a Pod, Frou Frou, Ciao Bella, Room 4 2, Additions, Belly Basics, Mu Mu, Patch and Motherhood just to name a few.  I try to offer Australian made and designed maternity clothes but sometimes I offer European designer brands at a fraction of their cost, including Howard Showers and Gap.

Many of my customers are working mums so I always try to have available funky corporate items that you can match up with your casual clothes and make a great collection of maternity wear that can be worn together for a completely different look. You can always grab a bargain on my site.

It is also important for you to try and maintain your own personal style which can sometimes be difficult when the clothes available are too expensive to add to your collection. That's where Ripefruit Maternity can help with quality second hand maternity wear! Just remember, I would never sell anything that I would not consider buying for myself.
